The Islamic Culture Center of Rochester was founded in 1997 and has been in service for more than 20 years.

Our Mission:

At the Islamic Culture Center of Rochester, education is at the heart of everything we do. We’re dedicated to bringing our diverse community together in a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels like they belong. Through robust educational programs, we strive to deepen our spiritual understanding, enrich our knowledge of Islam, and empower individuals to make a positive impact in our community and beyond. Whether it’s through engaging classes, supportive mentorship, or compassionate outreach efforts, we’re committed to fostering a culture of learning, empathy, and respect for all.

Our instructors (imams)  teach the Qur’an-i Kareem to the youth of many nations. They are implanting the the Love of Allah, and the faith of Ehl-i Sunnah to their hearts.

The important thing is to teach the Qur’an-i Kareem to a few more people and to teach the Ilim, Ahlak, and Adab that has reached to us from our Prophet to even more people.”

With this belief and conscious, our youth is learning the Qur’an-i Kareem in these madrasas, not only in Rochester, but throughout the entire United States. Aside from the Qur’an-i Kareem services, we also provide Islamic services like Nikah, Funeral, Qurbani, and Ramadan prayers. Additionally, services from cradle-to-the-grave are offered and fulfilled as well.

OUR AIM

The Islamic Culture Center of Rochester offers a helping hand without any materialistic gain or profit: Education Houses, Tahfiz, Qurban, Iftar, and cultural-social projects to enhance the emotion of brotherhood between one another.

Through our diverse array of educational programs, we aim to empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds to delve deeper into the teachings of Islam, and to explore the richness of our cultural heritage.
